Dr. Elmi
Medical DirectorDr. Elmi studied medicine in his home country of Iran. He became a doctor to take care of patients and he believes this is the most rewarding feeling to have the ability to make a change and make people feel better and regain their health. His specialty is in internal medicine with Tufts and he is affiliated with St. Elizabeth's Hospital. In light of the potential harm the pandemic poses for nursing home residents in particular, Dr. Elmi is vigilant in ensuring the safety and health of Genesis Healthcare’s patients. Harita Parikh, PT
Director of RehabilitationHarita Parikh graduated with a bachelor of Physical Therapy from India and perused her Master's degree from City University of New York with specialization in Cardio Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Harita has been working as a Physical Therapist since 2011 and working as a Director of Rehab with Genesis since 2015. She loves to work with patient’s interdisciplinary team to achieve the best outcome of patient's treatments and to be a part of patient’s recovery transition from a skilled nursing home to their own home. She spends her free time with her husband and young daughter and loves to travel.
