What is it:
Centers of Clinical Excellence (COCE) exemplify clinical integration and optimal Genesis clinical processes. The COCE will serve as a model center within their markets and help to coach other center leaders within the Genesis Healthcare organization.
What are they measured on:
COCE have been selected based on their achievements in patient satisfaction, short stay and long stay measures, clinical and financial outcomes, and compliance with core clinical processes.
Why:
Clinical Integration within the COCE focuses on the customer journey from preadmission to 30 days post discharge from our centers. A fully integrated team positively impacts satisfaction and clinical outcomes throughout the patient stay.
